Shibari, or Kinbaku in its traditional form, is an aesthetic and intense practice. Understanding rope placement, tension, safety rules, and anatomical details makes it essential to take lessons to begin safely, even if the ultimate goal is an intimate practice or one without suspension.
Steph Doe (Melle Calamity) offers various Kinbaku courses, in the Naka style , adapted to your level at her studio in Puy Ste Réparade (near Aix/Marseille).
The different courses
- "Introduction" course : ideal for discovering the practice
- "Groundwork Basics" course : the starting point with groundwork
- "Introduction to Suspension" course : progressing from the ground to suspension
- The "All Levels" : to learn or deepen your existing knowledge
- lessons : tailored to your level, from beginner to more advanced
The advantages of these courses
The lessons are in a "semi-private" format, meaning they are open to four pairs of students. This allows for a more intimate learning environment for each student, ensuring optimal learning conditions. You benefit from their immediate presence and guidance. Exercises are completed together, step by step, to facilitate effective progress.
